São Paulo, August 24, 2026. ESGreen launched IRC-ESGreen (Climate Risk Index) at FEBRABAN TECH 2026, held August 24–26 in São Paulo. The presentation took place at the Lenovo booth, with NVIDIA Latin America in attendance.

IRC-ESGreen combines three components: climate, ESG and operational data. The climate component considers rainfall, water deficit, frost, extreme temperature and wind by coordinate, weighted by crop stage. The ESG component uses the counterparty's ESGreen Score, by CNPJ (Brazilian company registration number) or CPF (Brazilian individual taxpayer number), built from more than 70 sources. The operational component considers the transaction type, collateral, coverage and transaction history. The index ranges from 0 to 100 across five bands (Very low, Low, Medium, High and Critical), and climate data is updated daily.

  • Events in Rio Grande do Sul: in a study of the April and May 2026 events, lead time reached up to 18 days.
  • Portfolio exposure: in an initial assessment of more than 1,000 areas and properties in Brazil's South Region, 94.3% of the analyzed portfolio showed some level of exposure to extreme climate events over the previous two years.

IRC-ESGreen organizes the risk reading into four levels (portfolio, ranking, 360° member view and assessment report) and supports a ladder of actions: monitor, require insurance, review the limit, strengthen collateral, provision or block. Delivery can be via per-transaction assessment report, operational and executive dashboards, alerts, API and regulatory reporting.

ESGreen is a member of the NVIDIA Inception program, and the model was trained on NVIDIA infrastructure.
